The Core Gameplay Loop: Cells, XP & Titans
In Kaiju Alpha, you start as a basic kaiju (like Skullcrawler) and battle in massive open destructible cities. Demolishing skyscrapers, bridges, and engaging enemy players generates Cells (the primary upgrade currency) and XP.
As your Cell balance grows, you can invest into stat upgrades—elevating your Maximum Health, Melee Damage, Beam Stamina, and Sprint Agility—or save up to purchase high-ranking Kaijus from the character roster.
Why Beam Attack Range Dictates Progression
While close-quarters titans like Kong (Beast Glove) offer high physical impact, players with ranged atomic beams consistently progress much faster. The game awards Cells on an assist basis: if you clip three enemy titans with your beam before they fall in a multi-monster brawl, you earn full reward credit.
